My family metaphor

My family is a group of animals
My dad is always hungry and growling for food
My mom is always in a bad mood
My sisters always want to fight
My brother is always picking up weights with all his might
But me I'm different I play games and get on the computer
like a regular little boy.

The great big brown black dog is pretty ugly
Its teeth were so big it looked like they were swelling

The deadly green reptile has thick roast, rough skin
slithering through the thick, green swamp

looking for something to feed on

maybe nothing that I would want

maybe something alive or raw

but who knows, it may have eaten a dogs paw

The Great Chocolate Argument
One day in class, the teacher,Ms.Ellis, was passing out confections and there was only one yummy,chewy,tasty Snickers left,But both Jesse and I wanted it. We got into a quarrel on who was gonna get the Snickers.
I told him,"I want that chocolate,Jesse!"
He shrilled back and yelled,"Yeah well,I want it to!"
We both came to an agreement and we decided to give it to the youngest, and we couldn't lie.
I told him,"I'm 9."
He moaned, sadly,"Aw man, I'm 9 and a half."
Well, I got the chocolate, but , I always thought that I should let him have it because the rest of that day, he felt melancholy. The next day I brought a lot of candy and I told him,"You can have whatever you want." I even had some snickers in the pile of the tasty candy. The rest the day he was blissful. That that big, happy, smile on his face made my day.
